About Us

Caroline, Owner & Designer

Atlantic Blue was established by Caroline, a military spouse and avid stitcher whose husband was frequently gone. As many, needlepoint regained my full-attention during lockdown and I started painting my own canvases. I work full-time as a CPA and painting needlepoint has been a wonderful, creative outlet.

Born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida, I am inspired by the Florida lifestyle. The military also moved us through Austin and Upstate New York, so I picked up a few inspirational designs along the way. Stay tuned for new and sassy designs for the modern stitcher.

Anna, Designer

Gotta Stitch It Up Designs

Hi friends, my name is Anna and I am the designer and owner of @GottaStitchItUpNdlpt! I live in West Columbia with my husband and our two fur babies - Gwen and Newman. When I’m not designing needlepoint, I am an elementary school librarian, which was my dream job as a child. I have been surrounded by all types of needle art since I can remember. My grandmother was an avid cross stitcher, used her sewing machine on the regular, and helped me learn all types of crafting skills. In 2014 I began cross stitching and then in 2020, as the world was shutting down, I took up needlepoint to help me cope with the stress. As for my designs, my inspiration stems from my own personal loves and memories. My muse include, but aren’t limited to: Guy Fieri, Shrek, children’s books, libraries, concerts, 90’s nostalgia, tv shows, TikTok, etc.

Haley, Designer

Pink Park Designs

Haley is new to the needlepoint world, both as a designer and as a stitcher, yet took to it like a duck to water! She loves fashion, food, & travel, as well as exploring her hometown of Chicago, IL. Anything colorful, vintage, preppy, pink, punny, and pizza-filled is her game...along with a glass of champagne close by. Though working a 9-5 by day, she's also a content creator by night. Follow both her needlepoint and personal pages below for all kinds of fun!

Hannah, Designer

Summer Hayes Designs

Hannah found needlepoint in early 2022 and never looked back! She fell in love with stitching first but has since found great satisfaction in working a project all the way through - designing, painting, stitching and finishing. Hannah knew she’d never be able to stitch all the designs she had in her head, so she started Summer Hayes Designs (named after her daughter) and team up with Caroline to bring her designs to the needlepoint market. In her daily life Hannah works in Health Economics and Outcomes Research and holds a PhD in Epidemiology. She is married and has two kids. She enjoys spending free time with her family, traveling extensively, and volunteering with the Junior League of Houston.

Sophie, Designer

Rooney & Stitch

Sophie is a former fashion buyer from New York now living in North Carolina and taking her needlepoint passion project full time - enter Rooney and Stitch. Her style is inspired by vintage textile patterns and retro graphic design. When she’s not painting canvases, you can find her being bossed around by her mini wire-haired dachshund, Moose

Kelsey, Designer

Kennedy Paige Designs

I'm so happy you're here! My name is Kelsey, I started stitching at the end of 2022, desperate for a hobby that would get me off my phone and away from mindless scrolling. I was convinced to try needlepoint by a few dear friends, and quickly became obsessed. I soon found myself searching for canvases based on my favorite things, and while I found some, there were some things I knew I would love to stitch. Thus, KPN was born!

Named after my sweet daughter, this collection is inspired by pop culture, TV shows, and other things I love- including bright colors. Designed for millennial women who are unapologetically themselves, I hope you love these canvases as much as I do!

Malainey, Designer

UnLainey Like

Hi I'm Malainey, but you can call me Lainey. I live here in Chicago and work as a flight attendant. I really love what I do because it allows me to travel for work and fun. I found needlepoint through Instagram and made starting a new hobby an intention for 2023. I have always loved creating things and needlepoint is something I enjoy from start to finish. Having an idea for a canvas and making that come to life, stitching and then finishing it has brought me so much joy. I love being able to challenge myself and learn through the process. I love stitching and designing canvases that remind me of memories I have traveling or things that feel unique to me. The name unlaineylike is a play on unladylike with creating designs that are fun, playful, and a little bit rebellious. Follow along to see what I stitch or design next @unlaineylike. I hope you enjoy my designs and if you’re ever on one of my flights please say hi!!

Anna, Designer

Anna McKenzie Studio

Hi, my name is Anna! I have always had a passion for painting and needlework so combining the two hobbies was inevitable! I am from Raleigh, NC and in addition to being a designer, I am a wife and mom and also work full time in HR focusing on Talent and Leadership Development. The motivation and inspiration to start @annamckenziestudio came after having my daughter, where I was craving a creative outlet. Motherhood has reminded me daily of God’s love and unending grace and, like needlepoint, the true labor of love that it is- remembering that each moment (or stitch) is helping build a much bigger picture. I felt like the needlepoint world could use some Jesus-loving canvases for the everyday aesthetic and thus my journey began! Since then, I have enjoyed creating custom canvases and growing my collection of designs. The goal for my brand and hope for my designs are to inspire you to lean into the ordinary moments while also encouraging you to celebrate all the fun, quirky things and little memories that shape your life, remembering that it all points back to Jesus.

Bridget, Designer

Stitches by Midge

ABOUT MIDGE: My name is Bridget but my friends call me Midge. I live in North Carolina with my husband, Billy, & our two boys (Irish twins!). When I’m not stitching, you can find me out in my garden, binge watching a show, or plotting our next house project.

Inspired by life’s little moments, I hope that these fun, charming & colorful canvases bring a little glimmer of joy to each stitcher’s life.
