Hi I'm Malainey, but you can call me Lainey. I live here in Chicago and work as a flight attendant. I really love what I do because it allows me to travel for work and fun. I found needlepoint through Instagram and made starting a new hobby an intention for 2023. I have always loved creating things and needlepoint is something I enjoy from start to finish. Having an idea for a canvas and making that come to life, stitching and then finishing it has brought me so much joy. I love being able to challenge myself and learn through the process. I love stitching and designing canvases that remind me of memories I have traveling or things that feel unique to me. The name unlaineylike is a play on unladylike with creating designs that are fun, playful, and a little bit rebellious. Follow along to see what I stitch or design next @unlaineylike.
